Charles F. Campbell, Esq.

Attorney Charles Campbell is a former world record swimmer, Pan American Games champion, NCAA champion, and American record holder. Charlie graduated from Princeton University where he was an All American for three years and captain of the varsity swim team for two years. He obtained a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina while working and coaching the swimming team.

Charlie has practiced law for over 30 years with an emphasis in eminent domain, inverse condemnation, real property law, appellate litigation, and complex business litigation. Charlie is the attorney of record in 12 published appellate opinions. He was on the trial team that won a $42 million verdict in Solana Beach School District v. Pardee Homes, San Diego Superior Court Case No. GIC802090, where the school district initially attempted to acquire the land under threat of condemnation for $19 million.

Charlie has successfully represented clients in numerous areas of law including boundary disputes, encroachment, view preservation, prescriptive easements, neighbor disputes, nuisance, breach of contract and fraud in the purchase or sale of residential and commercial property.  Charlie  represented an Internet company in a business dispute relating to a webhosting contract and software development agreement where he ultimately obtained a $5 million settlement in favor of his client and defeated a claim against his client for over $8 million.

Charlie lives in the beach area with his wife and two daughters.
