Walter was awarded a B.S. in Archaeology from DePauw University and for some time thought that he would end up begging for scraps as he spent his career digging up bones. Ultimately, he uncovered his true passion and decided to pursue the law with dogged determination. In the winter of 2009, he earned his J.D. (Jowls Dogtor) and began to work full time for Point Loma Law.

Walter’s duties require him to work with each attorney in the firm on a daily basis and as such, he eschews a desk and spends much of his day loping from office to office. Walter’s responsibilities include client relations, intake interviews, marketing, and playing fetch; although his real passion is pro bono work, where Point Loma Law lets him off his leash so he can hound opposing counsel.

Walter spends much of his free time in Mission Beach wrestling with his neighbors Roxy and Sophie and eating entirely too much barbeque.

Walter Bear is a black Labrador Retriever and Shar Pei mix and often goes by the name “Wally” or “Dog Bear”.

Walter can be reached at walter@pointlomalaw.com.

Attorney Corinne Clark has practiced law in San Diego County for 30 years. For the past 8 years, her practice concentrated on trade secrets and unfair competition litigation, commercial litigation, and employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees.

As a new attorney, Corinne was assigned the duties as assistant city attorney for 3 cities in San Diego County, acquiring legal skills in municipal and land use law in a concentrated dose. After working 2 years at one of the country’s largest law firms, she formed a law partnership with like-minded attorneys who were looking to escape the excessive billing rates and less than superior legal skills of big firms. The partnership specialized in representing small businesses, domestic and international, in both litigation and transactions until it was acquired by another large law firm.

Not wanting to return to the large law atmosphere, Corinne elected to continue practicing business litigation and employment law on her own and with another small local firm until recently forming Point Loma Law with Charlie Campbell, a long time colleague and friend. Point Loma Law and its partners are dedicated to providing the highest quality legal services in the areas of real estate litigation, business and commercial litigation, intellectual property, trade secrets, unfair competition litigation, and employment law.

Corinne graduated from UCLA, cum laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa; she also graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, cum laude.

Attorney Clark can be reached at cclark@pointlomalaw.com.
